Mark Boettcher

My name is Mark Boettcher. I have been married to my wonderful wife Brooke for five years and we have two amazing children and one arriving in August. I serve as Assistant Pastor, overseeing youth ministry and outreach, at Rapid City First Wesleyan Church. I graduated from Oklahoma Wesleyan University in May 2019 with a B. A. in Pastor Ministry. I am currently pursuing a M.A. in Biblical Literature through Wesley Biblical Seminary. I enjoy BBQing, camping and fishing with my family and running.

At an early age, I experienced the love of Christ through my Catholic Christian family. Fast forward, and that love has continued through being part of Celebrate Community Church in Sioux Falls since 2006.  I faithfully served in Children's and Adult Ministry during my membership and while on staff at Celebrate.  In 2019, I obtained my Masters in Pastoral Ministry from Wesley Seminary. Last Spring, my family and I started a home church right in our community! My husband Brent and I have three children combined:  Breydon, Aspen and Eliana. We intentionally live our faith transparently and share the love of Christ in our neighborhood. I look forward to continuing my role as a Home Church Pastor as well as continuing to encourage and support my fellow pastors!

My name is Ben Gietzen. I am currently the Multiplication and Networking Pastor at Gracepoint Wesleyan Church in Brookings, SD. This position is a new one and before that I was working with Oasis, the college/young adult ministry at Gracepoint for two years. My main focus now is on providing oversight to our residency program, network churches, and then any future multiplication efforts including church planting. I have been married for 11 years to my wife Abby who I met in college here in Brookings and we have 3 kids - Wesley (6), Alice (4) and Otis (11 months).

My name is Nathan Rygh my wife Sherri and I will be celebrating six wonderful years of marriage in July.  Our son, Wesley is 2 ½ years old, and we are excited for our second child to be born this September. We have been attending and serving at The Ransom Church in Sioux Falls for the past seven years, and I recently completed my Master of Divinity at Wesley Seminary this past December.  I am currently working at The Community Outreach, which is a faith-based non-profit that works with families in poverty.  Also, I am currently serving with The Ransom Church’s discipleship program and leading multiple small groups. It has been a joy to be part of what God is doing in Sioux Falls.

My name is Jesse Skidmore and I am the Campus Pastor at Ransom Church in Rock Rapids, IA. I am a recent graduate of the Kern Ministry Program with a Master in Practical Theology 2021, and a graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Science in Christian Ministries 2019. I have been married to my wife, Bethany, for almost three years, and we just welcomed our son into the world on April 24, 2021.

I’m Mandi and our family is so excited to be part of what God is doing through this incredible community of kingdom builders! A little about me, I grew up in Wisconsin (Go Pack Go...seriously, that’s like a non-negotiable) and moved to Montana in 2004 where I met my husband, Joe. He’s a pretty cool guy who does this pretty cool thing called SHIFT GARAGE. We have three kids who keep us smiling and from taking ourselves too seriously.

Both Joe and I served on staff at Fountain Springs Church in Rapid City, SD and that is where the Lord really called and affirmed me to ministry.  God used the life of Barnabas as well as Pastor David Kinnan and Pastor Todd Lynch who called out my gifting to really solidify my calling.  It was after that that I decided to continue my education and pursue Ordination and finished my education at Wesley Seminary.  Today I get the honor and privilege to serve on staff at The Ransom Church as the Awaken and Residency Pastor.  I am blessed to be on this team and I’m excited to see how God continues to grow and use me here!

My wife Allison Wood, have been married for just over a year! I graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University with a Bachelor's degree in Christian Ministry and a Master's degree in Theological and Biblical Studies.

commissioned pastor

Hello, I’m John Chamberlain. I was born and raised in Oregon and called into the ministry at age 13. I took many wrong turns throughout my life, pursuing what I thought would make me complete. Because of a miraculous healing I went to bible college at age 18 but left after two and a half years. In 2015, with encouragement from my wife, I began my studies again.

With God’s never-ending love, I am an Outreach minister at Capital Park Wesleyan Church in Salem, Oregon. Without Pastors Dane Gjesdal, Claude Alley, and Wayne Mueller, I would never have completed this process.

I started a Rise Above Fellowship a few years ago as a program to work with released felons. What started with 8 people has become 48 and we just had a baptismal service for four of them. God is moving in Salem Oregon and through His abundant grace, I get to be part of it.
