Elizabeth Awe Rev. Elizabeth Awe
I never cease to be amazed at the completeness of God's working in our lives. This perspective only becomes clear when we've the opportunity to look back across the span of time to see how God fit all the pieces together. My ordination journey began in 1976 when I headed off to Bible College. I'd been a quiet, shy girl with no thought of ministry, but it was the right step, and I graduated two years later with an associate's degree. I met my husband, Dean, after college. We will celebrate our 36th Anniversary this year, and have been blessed with two children and three grandsons. Over the years, Dean and I have endeavored to be faithful to the Lord, using our gifts in ministry, and striving to be a blessing and encouragement to our pastors by being people they could count on... In 2002, we were part of a launch team for Word of Hope Wesleyan in Rapid City. Through this venture, God has grown Dean and me by leaps and bounds, which brings us to the point we commemorate tonight - my ordination as a minister in the Wesleyan Church. I am blessed to see how God connected my Bible college from years ago to the present, and how my employment in the intervening years has taught me practical ministry skills and built my self-confidence. I am blessed by the completeness of God's plan in my life, and rejoice in being called to spread the Good News as a minister in His Church. Praise His Name!

Bryan Sagmoe Rev. Bryan Sagmoe
Bryan was born and raised in Sioux Falls SD. Along with his wife Joan, their daughter Lauren (19) and son Jaron(17), they now reside in Madison, SD where Bryan is the Lead Pastor of Living Hope Church. Bryan's career started in the construction industry, where he worked in, and then eventually owned, the family plastering business. Twenty-five years later, he answered the undeniable call of God on his life to full-time vocational ministry. At the age of 40, Bryan began the educational tract for ministry, and over the next four years, sold off and shut down his family owned business to pursue the next step in God's plan for his life. Three years ago Bryan engaged in full time ministry as the Connections Pastor at Linwood Church in Sioux Falls, SD. He is currently in his second year serving at Living Hope,. Bryan continues to live out his God-given purpose of helping people become more in Christ, through community. He has learned that even though you can serve God much of your life through lay leadership, you are never too old, or too far out of God's reach, for a calling into full-time pastoral ministry. Becky Todd Rev. Becky Todd
I was raised in a Christian home in a small town in Western New York State. At the age of 12, while at Chambers Wesleyan Camp, I decided to follow Jesus. As a teenager, I participated in Bible Quizzing through Family Life Ministries in Bath, NY. In 1994, I received a Bachelor of Science in Educational Ministry from Houghton College. It was during five years of service in a local church, that I discovered a love for ministry to children and families. From there, God led me to seminary, so that I might be better equipped to serve Him. In 2002, I graduated from Asbury Theological Seminary with a Masters in Christian Education. I then served as a Children's Pastor in Iowa. Since our move to Mitchell, SD, I have worked in both hospital chaplaincy and social services. Currently, I am an Early Childhood Ministry volunteer at Mitchell Wesleyan. My greatest joy is serving in ministry alongside my husband, Dan, and our two children, Lily and Josiah. It is our prayer as a family, that people will find hope, healing and the love of Jesus through our lives, as He lives through us. My life verse is Romans 5:5... "And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out His love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us."

Daniel Todd Rev. Daniel Todd
I was raised on a farm near Ashland, Nebraska. I completed my undergraduate degree at Nebraska Wesleyan University in Lincoln, Nebraska. Following college, I served a number of years as a Youth Director in the United Methodist Church. In 2002, I received my Masters of Christian Education at Asbury Seminary. It was there that I met my wife, Becky, and we were married in 2003. Becky served as a Children's Pastor in Cedar Rapids, IA for four years. All that time, I worked in social services with the Salvation Army. We moved to Lincoln, NE, where I had been asked to serve as Discipleship Director, a position I filled for three years. In 2009, we relocated to Mitchell, SD, where I continue to serve as an Assistant Pastor at Mitchell Wesleyan Church. We have two children that continually enrich our lives — Lily, 10 years and Josiah, 8 years. My hobbies include Nebraska football, Star Wars, Marvel movies and the NBA.

"I will give them an undivided heart and put a new spirit in them: I will remove their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh." — Ezekiel 11:19

Brian Wahl Rev. Brian Wahl
Brian knew God had called him to ministry while he was still in high school, but he never could have imagined the road it would take him on. Following his graduation from Bartlesville Wesleyan College, with a degree in Secondary Education, he married Chanda (Hobbie). After moving seven times, adding two kids to the family (Levi and Grace), and jobs in areas like sales, manufacturing, hospitality, food service, and yes, even education, God opened the door for vocational ministry. Brian went on staff as an assistant pastor at Countryside Community Church in Spearfish,. After preparing them for the task ahead, and adding two more kids to the family (Oscar and Oliver), God led the Wahl family to Alaska, where Brian is the lead pastor of Birch Ridge Community Church in Soldotna. Brian and Chanda are passionate about sharing ,and showing, God's grace to the Kenai Peninsula.
